Before I bought these shoes, I read a few reviews in which folks complained of blisters. I assumed they were whiners, and besides, I never get blisters, and even if I did - I'd never bother to go online and leave a negative review.
But I really just have to. The collar of these shoes have very close to zero padding, and have a very stiff edge. Maybe you'll be lucky and have a foot shape that will spare you any difficulties, but man - Puma's designers were on an extended coffee break when the ankle padding for these shoes was conceived.
The foot BED is absolutely fine. The shoe is pretty built up and sturdy. But the ankle padding....brutal!
The pathetic part is that I love the way they look so much that I'll probably torture myself for a few more rounds and lose a few more pints of blood before I finally give up on these things.
Since a RECALL is what would happen in dreamville, and of course won't, I beg Puma to spare the ankles of its future customers and add some $%#@! padding to the next run of these things.
