As with all ASICS products I have used over the years they are well developed and tailored for purpose and it shows.
I am so pleased with my pair and have already managed to convince some of my friends that these are the shoes to buy.
My only nuisance was the fact that I had to get them sent over from USA through Amazon as they are not available in the UK as yet (May 2011).
As ever Amazon were spot on and I had them within a week.
Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

Callaway Men's Hyperbolic X Golf Shoe Review

(More customer reviews)The Callaway Hyperbolic is the best golf shoe I've ever owned. Keep in mind, they run a bit narrow. This was perfect for me since my feet are extremely narrow. I tried some Footjoys once and my feet were swimming in those. The Hyperbolics fit perfectly and are well made. They are totally water proof and rugged. I've had them for over a year and they've held up nicely. I really like the design as they look very sporty and athletic, especially when wearing golf shorts. The sole is very stiff and sturdy, but I found them to still be comfortable. The spikes really grip, but they do tend to get clogged with lots of weeds, sand, and other junk. Otherwise, these shoes are perfect.

(More customer reviews)I bought a pair of these for my son who is playing junior golf tournament. They are excellent quality and fit true to size. He has no complaints at all (and believe me, he would complain if he could find a reason). As some of the other reviewers noted, the cleats are a little loose when they arrive. I put some threadlocker on the threads (they sell it on Amazon too) and tightened them up and have had no issues.

I also like the classic, understated look. It took a while to break them in, but it was worth it. After a couple of rounds, they are very comfortable.

I run 3-4 days per week and will only use asics. I'm 6'1 215 lbs so I need alot of support. I wanted to try the asic golf shoe since the running shoes work so well for me.
FIRST IMPRESSION:
I loved the look and feel right away. Very comfortable. The first thing I noticed after standing up was that they feel similar to asic running shoes in that they immediately conform to your foot, you dont feel unwanted pressure on spots where it feels like you'll have to 'break them in'.
ON THE COURSE:
Because of the higher heel, you are more on the balls of your feet, you feel VERY stable and balanced in the shoe. I did notice (as I've seen a few other web posts about this shoe) is that it tended to leave some good sized marks on the greens, presumably from the spike design in the heel ???
I bought these, took them to Vegas, and played 18 on a long course and my feet didnt hurt one bit. No blisters, nothing. Extremely comfortable golf shoe.
I was going to try Eccos but took these since I read some of the Eccos can slip in the heel. Not sure, may try Eccos to just to compare, but so far, I'd say Asic will be a player in the golf shoe world based on how comfy these are. We'll see how they hold up under tough conditions I play in. (midwest - north)

(More customer reviews)I always have issues with finding golf shoes that fit me correctly and are comfortable. I usually wear them around the house for a month before wearing them on the course. I can tell you when they say out of the box comfort they mean it. I like these so much I bought a secong pair. I paid $169 for my first pair, thought that was a little too much but after wearing them, worth every cent. They are now on sale for around $100, buy them you won't be disappointed. Great and I mean Great golf shoe!!!!
