The quality is excellent and they look fabulous. He's so anxious to try them out. I wasn't sure it they'd look "cheap" since I was originally going to buy a more expensive pair, but I'm glad I bought these.

(More customer reviews)The Callaway Hyperbolic is the best golf shoe I've ever owned. Keep in mind, they run a bit narrow. This was perfect for me since my feet are extremely narrow. I tried some Footjoys once and my feet were swimming in those. The Hyperbolics fit perfectly and are well made. They are totally water proof and rugged. I've had them for over a year and they've held up nicely. I really like the design as they look very sporty and athletic, especially when wearing golf shorts. The sole is very stiff and sturdy, but I found them to still be comfortable. The spikes really grip, but they do tend to get clogged with lots of weeds, sand, and other junk. Otherwise, these shoes are perfect.

Oakley Men's Servodrive Golf Shoe Review

(More customer reviews)I've long been a fan of Oakley eyewear and other accessories, so I gave these a try. I was a bit skeptical because they're not really a shoe company, but they designed these well.
The spikes they come with are a pretty big upgrade from my decade-old Dexters, both in terms of performance and ease of upgrading. They just use the same spikes that are now standard, so you can buy pretty much any leading set.
The shoe is not the most comfortable, but it is comfortable. Certainly more than any other shoe in it's price range. I've tried some FootJoy's on that cost twice as much that I would say are more comfortable, but overall I'm happy saving a Benjamin.
The construction feels solid. They give you real shoestrings in stead of those thin laces a lot of golf shoes come with. They're sufficiently long to tie in a double not, but not so long that you're then tripping over them.
All in all I'm a pretty big fan. They're as good as most shoes that cost 50% more.

They're extremely comfy, with rubberized spikes that won't damage your floors, carpets, etc. Light as advertised, and quite sharp too.
Adidas have always worked well for me. Used to buy the Samba's for indoor soccer. I got mine a half size smaller than normal. Found this typical of all Adidas shoes.
If you like the brand and you golf, buy these; you won't be disappointed!

I played two rounds of golf in one day (36 holes) the first day I got them, and my feet felt great. It was like wearing a good pair of running shoes. Now, if you have wide feet I could see that being a problem because the shoe are a little narrow. I have played 8 rounds of golf now with these shoes and they just get better as the form to my feet. When I come to sizing them, I got the same size as my running shoe and it was a perfect fit. In the past I have owned high-end Nike golf shoes and I liked them, but changing to these shoes was like night and day. If you do have Nike golf shoes, just remember they run small so don't match up sizes with these shoes. Hope everyone's experience is as good as mine.

However, you want to watch your left foot (if you are a right handed golfer) from rolling over when hitting an aggressive strokes. Because of the width of the shoe, your foot, if not fitting snug in the shoe, will slide to the left and you may roll your ankle. Simple way to avoid this is to ensure your feet fit snugly in these shoes. Great walk on the course! I gave it 4 stars because for the price I was expecting a softer insole.

Was leary of the gripping power of the built in sole spikes, but after use they have the same gripping power as regular spider golf spikes. In fact probably have better gripping as the way the sole is made and spacing of the built in spikes. I would highly recommend these shoes to anyone. I am an advid golfer and have worn, Footjoy's, Nike's, Florsheims, and Etonics. These shoes are equal or exceed the previous ones that I have worn, particular in comfort.

(More customer reviews)These are the most comfortable and lightest golf shoes I've ever worn. I have a neuropathy which makes walking painful for me. By putting a comfort insert into these shoes, I created the best fully cleated shoe I've tried. The only rival is the non cleated True Links shoe worn by Ryan Moore. I have these, but they cost $159. The Dawgs are fully waterproof. The lack a little lateral stability, but that helps me by centering my balance as one should. I've bought 3 pair now, including a non cleated version for everyday wear. They are true to size and a great value at $35-45. Will update with a longetivity report in the future.

Neither the labeling on the shoe nor the shoe box say it is made of leather. I thoroughly inspected the shoe and I could not find a single square millimeter of leather in it. I had a suspicion of this when I ordered the shoe because of the price, but I gave Amazon the benefit of the doubt. Big Mistake! Also, the spikes are not of high quality, they look like an older style.
Below is the product description from the Golf Outlets of America's product page. It does not mention Leather at all.

However, it is a good looking shoe and seems to function just fine after wearing it once at the driving range. I cannot attest to the water proofing claims though. If you only want to pay $30 for a pair of golf shoes, this one will work, but you are not getting the quality of a leather golf shoe. As the old saying goes, you get what you pay for.

DAWGS Men's Spirit MGS Golf Shoe Review

(More customer reviews)Bought these guys the other week and took them to the range and they were super comfortable. The weather as been smoldering and sandals just look dumb out on the course, these guys solve that problem. I can't really describe the material except for saying its a soft, rubbery, stretchy-like material that his super flexible. The comfort is there, you can wear it with socks (dry afternoon round) or without (dewy morning round). For the price these are pretty good. One downside is that if you get stuck in the bunker (sadly I do a lot) your shoes get a good amount of sand in them...they slip right off for easy sand dumping--not really a hassel, wouldn't keep me from picking up another pair in the future, but its something to think about. Also if you're a morning golfer and don't like being barefoot then these are obviously not your shoes because your feet will get wet (reason for minus 1 star...but not uncomfortably wet as long as you're not wearing a sock)
Overall this is a great super casual golf shoe for the range or the course. I got a 10 initially after measuring my foot and comparing it to the Dawgs size chart on their website, but I had to go for the 11 (I normally wear a 10.5 nike running shoe). No half sizes. If you're unsure about size try and find it in a store (sears has them I think) but then pick them up here because its cheaper. I made the mistake of buying them on amazon first then having to return them and pick up the bigger size (waste of 5 bucks).
