(More customer reviews)Ok, first and foremost, I am not the type of guy to wear flip flops, or sandals. i have just never been comfortable with them on my feet. the little thong thing between my toes, the feeling that the darn thing is going to fall of, just really bothers me. on the other hand, i love to go to mexico and hang out on the beach. so i end up with either burnt feet, or sand in my sneakers. so i took a chance on these, and i am so glad i did! they are super comfortable, and they feel like sneakers, but are light and airy enough that my feet are cool; but protected! on top of everything else they don't slide around, they feel nice and secure! great product!

Every year around spring time I break out the sandals and don't see any of my shoes or socks until winter rolls around. I've had these for about a month now and I can easily see them carrying me through the next two or three years or so. Very sturdy and well made.

My first reaction to this shoe was why would you want a strap across the back and what is it?
First they fit great and have a low almost sandal feel to them.
The sole, has a great boat grip, drain holes across the front to let out water and breathe.
The Backstrap, when the shoe gets wet this holds nicely to your skin it is not stiff as it looks in the picture. a silicone type feel but not sticky.
These fit a lot like the original crocks and look much better on your feet.
I will review back if they do not hold up long term. But for now I am sold and ready to buy one more color.
The only negative thing to say is they look so different at first glance.
Update: they have Omni-Shield advanced repellency for water and stain protection. This could come in handy for fishing trips.I bought some to give my Dad for Fathers day...

They are lightweight and very comfortable, I wear them after basketball and never want to take them off. When they get dirty, I just wipe them with a sponge and they look good as new. You can't beat them for the price.

(More customer reviews)I had broken my foot and needed a pair of sandals with good arch support--and I lucked out when I found these. Interestingly, the arch support is so expertly contoured that it doesn't feel like a support, which initially made me skeptical. However, when I wear them (now, for instance) I am pain free, which certainly isn't the case with other sandals (or even shoes, unless I add an arch support insert). They are also very rugged, easily washed, very adjustable with the Velcro band on top (though I haven't needed to adjust them), and darn, they look good, too (I bought them on sale and Chocolate was the only option in my size, but they turned out to be the best looking sandals I've ever had). Oakley always seems to get it just right, and these sandals have greatly accelerated my recovery.

First off, as stated in another review I read somewhere (I should have listened), they run small (and narrow). I wear size 12 or 13... I ordered 13. I shoulda got 14. Right now, for the front end of my foot to be comfortable, my heels have to go all the way to the back end of the flip flops. Because they are too small, I find myself pushing my feet towards the front, which really wedges that piece of material between your toes (which is very sturdy, but uncomfortable) right up against you. Maybe after I wear them in a bit they will stretch out (theres a LITTLE extra room up front), but right now they're pretty uncomfortable to walk in. They're also fairly heavy for flip flops, which I'm not too crazy about either. They're about the same weight as a sneaker (I checked). I will say that the cushioning is VERY comfortable. If I had gotten a size bigger, I think I would have given them 4 stars.REVISION: 5 STARS
Ok, after a few months wearing these, they have become pretty comfortable and now my cheap flip flops seem TOO light to me. These have started to contour to my feet, making the smaller size not an issue. I like them a lot now.

(More customer reviews)The sandals themselves are very comfortable and as described. However, it is a shame these are not available (yet) in the UK as the costs of postage and then CUSTOMS VAT are prohibitive, effectively doubling the cost of the sandals
They will probably never be as popular in the UK as we don't have a great summer climate but I am sure there is a market here. Perhaps they are available already but I could not find on Amazon UK or any other UK site I googled.
Would recommend the product but not at the final price of almost $100 after postage and Customs VAT clearance.

I use these mostly for wear around the house but actually wore them for alot of a recent move I made and they held up fine. They have just the right amount of cushioning and can be adjusted to fit your feet snugly or loosely - whichever you prefer or need for the moment. I like the way they look too which is an added bonus. They are great for after sports or exercise - make your feet feel great. Highly recommended!

He left some pretty deep tooth marks on the side of the sole. No big deal, I thought, because like most thong sandals they probably won't last that long. Four years later, I was still explaining why "those sandals you wear constantly" had feline inflicted battle wounds.
If those sandals were a truck, they would have made it 750,000 miles before crumping. Did I forget to mention they are comfortable? Ohhhh, yeah. Bottom line - buy them, you'll like them.

I purchased a pair of these five years ago and they were great. The nobs did not come off...the strap finally broke loose after three years of use. I just purchased a new pair in June and by August most of the nobs are off already. They are almost unusuable at this point.
I wrote to the Adidas to let them know that the quality had gone downhill and got a 'corp-speak' response but no answer or even willingness to admit they have a bad shoe now. See update below:
Recently, a friend of mine bought the Adidas Men's Calissage, with the clear nubs, and they have not lost any nubs in over three months. They seem to be about the same as this version, just better made nubs. I would recommend going with the Calissage...if you can find it in your size. I checked on Amazon and they were out of many sizes.

The comfort, the fit and the amazing foam lined footbed have made this a slide that no longer is just for after-running, but a slide I wear casually as well. Your feet are not going to believe how amazingly comfortable these bad boys are. It's like nothing you have ever experienced before. Throw out all those other slides because this one is the only one you will need.
They look awesome with a pair of jeans as well, so you can get in your ride and take a trip down to the market with these bad boys and look pretty darn good doing it.

(More customer reviews)Good arch, comfortable top fit, and no hard leather or plastic rubbing blisters on my foot. I bought these for myself for father's day. I have been picky about my sandals. I had adidas with velcro(hard leather on top blistered my toe). I avoided velcro type sandals this time. I saw other solorsoft shoes, but not like this one. This has a good arch, a soft top that does not leave blisters or rub. This is the best of the Nike Solorsoft. I shopped 6 shoe stores for sandals. I found these particular ones in JCPenny. I could not find these anywhere else. I may need to buy another pair. My main concern for this shoe is the bottom will wear out within 4 months.
