Private Label - Mens Golf Slipper, Black, White Review

Private Label - Mens Golf Slipper, Black, White

I have to admit first off that I am not a golfer. I came across these slippers while browsing here on Amazon, and thought they looked extra warm and cozy. With the price being in the range I had in mind, I took a chance and ordered them, figuring I could make just as much conversation with folks asking me why I have golf slippers when I don't play golf, as I would invite if I did. The picture of them here gives no real indication of the size of these slippers. They are really big, I mean wide, fat, and fluffy. The soul on them is really nothing but a thick spongy material that squishes down when you walk. The cleat like little rubber white spots on the bottom being mostly for show, and serving no real purpose except to provide a smidgen of traction, and of course to look cool. The first time you put them on, a fellow named Bozo will immediately come to mind.
Once you get past the size of these babies, and get used to the soft bottoms squishing down on every footfall, (just the feeling, no noise) if you're like me you will find them the most warm and comfortable slippers you ever had. They can't help but be, they are just so big and thick. Although they are definitely not the kind of slippers you can step out to empty the trash with on a damp night, there is no doubt that these slippers will keep your feet toasty warm on any cold floor. They are wonderfully warm and snuggy. One thing worth mentioning however is the size, as to your foot size that it. Although the medium size in the AD states that medium is for 7 to 8, the bottom of these slippers state (M 10-11). I wear a size 9, and they fit just perfectly. A size 8 foot may be fine in these, as well as perhaps a size 10 getting by, but a size 11 would be pushing it a might. They may stretch over time as all slippers do. But I would suggest that anyone with a bigger foot than size 10 (10 will be kinda snug, remember that) either go for the larger size, (if it's available, it wasn't at the time of this writing) or opt for one of the more expensive golf slippers on Amazon.
All in all I have to say I am very satisfied with these slippers despite their being so big and fat simply because they are so very, very warm and comfortable. If you are a man, or have one in your life that never shuts up about his cold feet in winter, get him these whether he is a golfer or not. You will never hear from him again, (not about cold feet anyway). I did take one star off for although these slippers are warm and comfy, they do not have any real sole on them, and thus will wear out quicker than those that do. Especially if you're one to skip outside in slippers on occasion like I am. Other than what has been mentioned, I recommend these slippers for all the cold feet out there that are looking for a good place to call home...

L.B. Evans Men's Klondike Slipper Review

I've had a hell of a time finding slippers because it seems that they only sell them in stores at Christmas time.
Unable to buy them in person - I decided to take the risk of buying them comfort unfelt and fit unknown.
I'm very glad I did - as these slippers are great, and fit perfectly (I went a half size up just to be sure - too big being preferable to not big enough). Very comfortable and warm, and unlike most new slippers they didn't make my feet all sweaty at first until they were broken in. They have a nice thick sole with good traction making them great all-terrain slippers for getting the mail or chasing the cat.
Very happy with them.

I've got plenty of shoes, but these are the ones I wear. Warm, comfortable, good to my feet. I wish I could have gotten them in a wide. Couldn't be done. I have a shoe stretcher I used on them and now - these are my shoes.

Slippers are beautifully made, down to the smallest detail. Colors are great. Even the box is good-looking! Resembles slippers that cost twice the price. I bought two pairs.
